On my route to work there is a D50 in a trucker's yard.

That truck has never moved to my knowledge. When I was a child (I'm 34 now) I remember that truck sitting there. As far as I know that truck has been rotting in this person's yard for 20+/- years. What posses a person to do such a thing? They aren't a car hoarder ans their land / yard is clean and well maintained. Someone would give them money and take it away for scrap at the very least.

It is oddly comforting in a way. As the landscape changes around me the D50 remains a constant. One day it will be gone and my wife will not understand why I'm so upset.

Why? They were barely worth scrap value when new.

There's a Mack B61 sitting at a place here in town quietly moldering a bit. Not beyond hope, but it's been there a very long time. It's actually at a business, and the grounds are well kept.

Not like the people with the 65 Fury. Grrr.

Those people should be shot in the face in front of their families.

That poor Fury is basically in a pile of leaves. The Mack, for all that it's in okay shape otherwise has a broken window.

Buy the D50. Do it. Put an Eclipse turbo motor in it.

I'll offer him $300.

Seriously though did you read what I wrote? It has been returning to its base elements with the steady march of time!

Exactly. Simplify and add lightness.
